Introduction to Coffee Cupping
Saturdays*, 9:30am-11:30am. $65/person
In the coffee industry, we use cupping as a tool to taste, assess, and compare different coffees. Have you ever wondered what it's like to cup coffee? If so, this is the course for you!
Join a Q Grader for a cupping, where you will learn about the protocols of cupping. You’ll walk away with new skills and a greater understanding of complexity and nuances of coffee!

Introduction to Espresso
1st Saturday of the Month @ 12:00-2:00pm. $125/person
Dialing-in Espresso can be tricky at first. Learn the history of different generations of Espresso Styles, the proper approach to Dialing-in espresso, and taste different styles of Espresso to learn how to build espresso recipes to your preference.
Join our Intro to Espresso class here at CoRo in our QC Lab and learn how to Dial-in different shot ratios, learn some key terms and theories, and pull and taste different styles of Espresso

Introduction to Milk Steaming
3rd Saturday of the Month @ 12:00-2:00pm. $125/person
Learn how to achieve better microfoam with milk for better tasting milk coffee beverages!
This small class will be composed of short lecture followed by an intensive crash course of steaming and pouring with guidance to level up your steam texture.
By the end of the class, you can expect to pour a delicious espresso beverage with a simple design!

Introduction to Roasting
Friday, 9:30-11:30am. $300/person
This is a group class providing an introduction to small-batch coffee roasting on our new Loring 1.5kg roaster. This class is perfect for anyone, from home roasters looking to take that “next step” to experienced roasters looking for an introduction to Roasting on a commercial roaster.
Students receive an overview of roasting machine operations, including the Loring’s unique heat management controls, basic production logistics, safety procedures, and hands-on roasting.
Roast Theory & Profiling
3rd Friday of Every Month.
Two - 2-hour sessions in 1 day. $500/person
This class expands on the skills learned in the Introduction to roasting class and dives deeper into roast theory and roast profiling. It is designed for those who want to develop stronger roasting skills, complemented by cupping techniques, to elevate their overall coffee expertise and coffee profiling. Participants will get the opportunity to roast multiple batches and try all of the coffees roasted. Basic roasting experience is recommended but not required.

The program combines theory and real-world application, including time on multiple commercial roasters (Mill City, Probat, Loring), guided cuppings, production planning, and more.
